My definition of Bootleg is“fan art”: Re-designed original pieces made using and showing respect to a large designer houses such as DIOR, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, etc.
My bootleg items are not knock-off designs, meaning they are not created to replicate another designers work. They are original designs hand-made and re-worked right here in Seattle! I am very proud of my bootleg items, they are well made and very exclusive.
I love bootleg, I always have! My first memory of creating something bootleg was when I was in high school and I really really wanted a Juicy Couture necklace but I couldn't afford one, I found a juicy keychain at a thrift store and made it into a necklace! I loved it because it was original and no one else had one. I've been thrifting and creating bootleg pieces ever since.
